Milbridge is located on the Downeast coast of Maine. For guests flying in, Bangor International Airport is the closest major airport, with additional options available in Portland. We strongly recommend renting a car, as the area is rural and rideshare and public transportation options are limited.

Our wedding will take place at our family home in Milbridge, on the Downeast coast of Maine. Accommodations in the immediate area are limited, so we HIGHLY recommend booking early.

Downeast Maine will keep you closest to the wedding, while Ellsworth and Mount Desert Island offer more accommodations and easy access to Acadia National Park. A car will be necessary for getting around the area.

Casual Summer

Dress comfortably for an outdoor Maine lobster bake. Sundresses, skirts, linen, nice shorts or trousers, and relaxed button-downs are all welcome. Comfortable shoes and a light layer are recommended.

WEDDING · FRIDAY
Summer Formal

Dress for a summer celebration on the Maine coast. We encourage midi or long dresses, dressy separates, and suits or jackets with trousers. Ties are welcome but not required. Our wedding will take place entirely outdoors across lawn, gravel, and uneven natural terrain, so please choose footwear accordingly. Maine evenings can be cool, so we recommend bringing a light layer.

We’re keeping our wedding small and intimate, surrounded by the people closest to us. Because of this, we’re only able to accommodate the guests specifically named on your invitation and are unable to extend additional plus ones.

While we had originally envisioned an adults-only celebration, we completely understand that traveling to Maine without little ones may not be possible. If childcare would prevent you from joining us, please reach out - we love your children and want to make it possible for you to celebrate with us.
